Prince Edward Brandus Shows in Green Country State
Fair Futurity. "Eddy" (Jan X MG Elliza) was shown in the Green
Country Arabian Horse Association Stallion Futurity Auction on
October 1, 2009. Eddy placed third in Half Arabian Colts. He
received numerous compliments on his good behavior. This was
Eddy's first show and he was accompanied by his half brother
"Thumper" for moral support. A big THANK YOU to all the Green
Country volunteers that make this program possible.
Tiger part of the Team at Cowboy Trade Days. Tiger (Saphiro X MG Elliza) participated as part of a four inhand team at the Cowboy Trade Days November 7th and 8th. The team was prepared and driven by Ray Pierce of Shady Point, OK. Mr. Pierce provided wagon rides both days of the event. The Cowboy Trade Days is put on annually by the Cowboys For Christ. The event is held each fall at the fair
grounds in Poteau, OK.
June 7, 2010, Cowboy up for Jesus Vacation Bible School. Bokoshe Assembly of God held their vacation Bible school this summer. This years theme was Cowboy up for Jesus. Monday evening we held wagon rides. Our geldings Tiger and Jubal pulled the wagon. Trip was used to out ride and for pony rides. Mr. Ray Pierce donated his time as teamster. Other events during Bible school included a stick horse shodeo, roping a dummy, snapping a bull whip, and cowboy Bibles.

Old Fort Days Parade. Several horses and friends from the ranch participated in the Old Fort Days Parade, May 31, 2010. This parade is held annually in Fort Smith, AR. Our geldings, Tiger and Jubal, were part of the team used by Mr. Ray Pierce for the Cowboys for Christ wagon. They were joined by Harley from Jump the Moon Ranch to make a three abreast team.
Riding we had Blink and Mindy Roland, Smooth and Derrail Roland, Firecracker and Jake Thompson, Rascel and Ashley Thompson, Sunny and Betsy Smith.

Days Barrel Futurity held in Fort Smith, AR. Blink is a 4yr old
Appaloosa mare owned by Mr. Leonard Harvison. We have
truly enjoyed being a part of this horses development.

Don't Blink finished her first year of Barrel Racing with placings at the
Battle of the Barrels and at Hero's Arena. Blink also participated in the
Oklahoma City Barrel Futurity. Trained and ridden by Mindy Roland.
We look forward to Blink's further
development as a barrel horse.

Samantha Collier and Gay Dry, "Stormy", her APHA mare, won the Youth World Barrel Racing title at the AjPHA Youth World Show in Forth Worth, TX, on July 1, 2011. Sam and Stormy also competed and placed last fall at the APHA world show and have been featured on the cover of the Paint Horse Racing Journal. Stormy was purchased from our friends at McGuire Farm. Sam and Stormy have come along way from their first rides together in our lesson program. We are so proud of you guys!
Elphiro Tiger competes at The Cowboy Country CDE, Stillwater, OK. This was Tiger and Mindy's first every driving show. Tiger scored a 68 on his training level dressage test and earned good comments from the judge. He was very well behaved and did an excellent job! We spent the weekend with our friends from Terdal Farms. Rhea Tredal competed with her PRE Anadlusian Stallion, Chistoso. Photos taken by Tara Curry.
Leo Bar Star Jingles at open shows in April.
Leo showed at Westark and ANWARC Shows in April 2011. Leo won Stallion Halter and Ranch Pleasure as well as placing in Ladies Western Pleasure at Westark. Leo placed in Stallion Halter, Senior English Pleasure, and English Pleasure Championship classes at ANWARC. This was his first attempt at English classes! Shown by Mindy Roland.

Our congratulation to The Detail Man of Jump The Moon Ranch, Poteau, OK, on showing in open and non pro hunter in hand stallions. The Detail Man, also known as Dexter, competed in both classes at the Tulsa ApHC show on June 25, 2011. Shown by owner, Betsy Smith, and Mindy Roland. Special thanks to Ashley Thompson and Rhea Terdal for all the help at the show. The Detail Man is the up and coming stallion prospect of Jump The Moon Ranch.Future plans include further showing and eventually standing at stud. Elphiro Tiger competed at the Missouri State Fair in Aug. 2011. Tiger showed to first place in Half Andalusian Gelding Halter, Half Andalusian Best Movement, and Half Andalusian Driving. Tiger is out of our 2005 foal crop. Shown by Mindy Roland. We had a great time at the show. It was even more special as it was our last outing with Tiger. Tiger left the show in the care of his new owner, Jack Shea. Our best wishes to Tiger and Jack in all their future drives!

In Sept, 2011, Jan made a trip to the State Fair at Tulsa, OK, to be part of the Green Country Arabian Horse Association Stallion Presentation. Jan enjoyed all the people who came by his stall to meet him. Jan performed a liberty routine for his presentation.

Candy Man Can Skip goes to first horse show
Skip goes to his first horse show. Skip has been learning huntseat and
jumping cross rails here at the ranch. Skip's first outing was at ANWARC's
June show were he placed 6th out of a class of 12! Skip is owned
by McGuire Farms. Ridden by Mindy Roland. He was started
at The 4 13 Ranch as a 2 yr old and was able to
spend some time with us again this summer.
