Mariah is the very first foal I ever raised. My parents allowed me to buy Elliza when I was a teenager and have her bred. Mariah was my whole world when I was 16. I named her Mariah because of the song, "they call the wind Mariah". It stormed the whole week she was born. She has been all over the world with me. She was the first foal I raised and trained. I won't deny she is a bit spoiled.
Mariah has been shown in Class A halter, sport horse, and hunter undersaddle. I have shown her in open and she has also shown in youth and amerature. She has lots of trail time. She is a smooth riding horse. She has given lots of beginner lessons on the longe line.
Mariah is the boss mare. When it comes right down to it, I truly believe she thinks she owns the place and we just live her to feed her. She has pulled her weight in the broodmare band. Mariah has produced some really spectacular offspring. Her daughters, Candy and Sassy, can be found on our foals page.

Grey Zakki, Mariah's sire, was owned by Cindy Hartner in Otego, NY. He was shown throughout upstate NY. He also enjoyed parades with Cindy.
