Leo is owned in partnership with McGuire Farms. Kenneth McGuire bred and raised Leo. He brought him to us as a two year old and we haven't gotten tired of riding him since! Leo has been so much fun to ride and show. He has been an incredible horse for us to work with. He has so much feel and balance. Leo can back up smoother than some horses can go forwards and he was born knowing how to stop. For than matter, he was practically born knowing how to ride. He is one of the easiest horses to train on and some times it seems like he is ahead of what you are trying to teach him. And if you aren't careful, he will train himself to do something you may or may not want him to know!

Leo is very laid back and seems like he is bordering on lazy until you put a cow in front of him. He is a whole mother horse in a roping box. Kenneth decided to take Leo to Larry Harris for his roping training. Leo took to it like a duck to water. Leo also helps work cows in the pasture when needed.

Leo has sired a limited number of colts. They are showing themselves to be athletic and smart. They are a pretty good looking bunch too!
